Mrs. Hill's 1st graders had fun decorating their gingerbread houses!
The Twin River Junior High Girls Basketball team finished up their season on Saturday, December 17th with a hefty win against Fullerton 43-10. The win was a total team effort!
The 7th graders had a great season, ending with a 6-3 record with wins over Madison, David City, Schuyler, Scotus, David City Aquinas and Fullerton. The three losses were close games to Central City, Lakeview and Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family.
The 8th graders finished up their great season with a winning record of 5-4. The 4 losses came from very tough teams: Lakeview, Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family, Scotus and David City Aquinas. These teams had very talented groups of girls. The 8th graders fought hard against them until the last second of these games. The 8th graders had hefty wins over Madison, David City, Schuyler, and Fullerton. They beat Central City 19-18 in a very close match up.
Great season, girls! Excited to see this group of girls compete in the coming years together!

Students and parents,
There has been a change to the school calendar for the end of the first semester.
The students' last day for the semester will be Tuesday, December 20th with a 3:30pm dismissal.
Wednesday, December 21st will now be a professional development day for staff.
Happy Friday! Today we will be having an ICU Blitz Day for the 7-12 students. Details are as follows:
Students in grades 9-12 who are not on the ICU list will be able to leave today at 3pm, after checking in with their Homeroom teachers. If students use school transportation, they can leave or go to the Old Gym for open homeroom. If they leave, they will need to be back in time for their scheduled bus route.
Students in grades 7 and 8 who are not on the ICU list will report to the Old Gym for an open Homeroom.
Students who have assignments on the ICU list will be required to stay in class until 3:30pm to get help from teachers for their missing assignments
On Friday, December 9, Twin River Public Schools will have a 10:00am late start. There will be no preschool and busses will run accordingly.
Twin River Public Schools will be dismissing at 1:30pm on December 8. There will be no after school activities.
